My fascination with sheer Textiles probably began in high school. I use to create prom dresses and worked one summer, between high school and college, in a bridal shop. I was so taken by all that texture and shine. I worked in alterations, but never touched a bridal gown. One time I tried to transform a bridesmaid's dress. I don't recall the outcome. But when I was called out by one of the other worker bees, I wasn't fired. This art pieces is made with gauze and printed cotton sheen. It is a dream of water.
